• Extreme Diversity For Wellman Hire Boilers

Wellman Robey (Boiler Hire)  has recently received two orders that illustrate the extreme diversity of the markets they serve.

Lea & Perrins the producer, since 1839, of the world famous “Worcester Sauce”, had planned its boiler house shut-down in order to carry out refurbishment. During this period a 4,500 kg/hr trailerized steam boiler from Wellman Robey’s Hire Division is providing the continuity of steam supply that is required to maintain full production.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, B.A.E Systems (the world’s second largest defence company) have taken out a six month hire contract for a similar trailerized steam boiler. It is now providing steam at the nuclear submarine manufacturing and maintenance facility at Barrow- in- Furness.

Not all wellman Robey Hire Boilers are called for “planned operations”, in many cases “critical emergencies” are the order of the day. Here the company takes pride in super quick response and it is not unknown for a callout to steam ready to be completed between sun-up and sun-down.

Wellman Robey provide an extensive range of gas and oil fired “Hire boilers” (for providing steam or hot water) which can be delivered to site in either trailerized or containerized form and simply connected to the main services.
