Wellman Robey provide a range of fired steam boilers from 100kg up to 55,000kg/hr for burning all grades of fuel oil, gas, turbine gases, incinerator gas and other useful heat sources.

Boilers are provided in standard pressures up to 40 bar g. incuding facilites for high temperature superheaters and fuel saving flue gas economisers.

Shell boilers are flame and smoke tube boilers, whose tubes carry flue gases and are surrounded by the boiler water. The boilers are used wherever steam of constant high quality is required.

Wellman Robey's shell boilers are based on glame tube / smoke tube boilers either with rear flue gas reversing chambers or with flue gas reversal in the furnace. Flame tube, internal wet-back rear flue gas reversing chamber, 1st smoke tube pass and 2nd smoke tube pass are arranged for optimum flow in the cylindrical, hoizontal pressure vessel. Shell boilers always have sufficient steam reserve, even during sudden consumption peaks.

The use of sophisticated firing systems and careful tuning of the optimum boiler / burner combination produces a marked improvement over legal emission limits. In addition, the latest research results and techniques for extremely low emissions are constantly incorporated. Our firing system specialists are experts in enviromentally responsible burner technology and apply cutting edge emission reduction technology.
